Picture of the Month for May 2012
A street in Bangkok, 1991
This month I show you a "vintage" picture of Bangkok, dating from 1991. In those days there was (apparently) far less traffic than nowadays. This is the street - if I remember it rightly - passing Chatuchak market, very near the market. It really looks amazing now.
I now really wonder why I found the traffic in Bangkok so very busy then, because that was definitely one of the big impressions! Look, and be amazed, like I was when I saw this picture back. ***
